Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. Psalm 34:5
If we are going through trials and tribulations and seeking peace all we have to do is look to God, it is there that we will find peace and be able to radiate – no longer bearing shame or guilt.

There are three main ways we find peace in our darkness: vertical, horizontal, and internal. Vertical peace has to do with our relationship with God. Horizontal peace comes from our relationships with others. Internal peace has to do with our relationship with ourselves.
If you are experiencing internal conflict or conflict with others, it's tempting to focus on those aspects of peace. You may exert a great deal of energy trying to resolve those areas of your life. But you will make little headway if you fail to address the most important kind of peace there is, which is vertical peace – Peace with God who made you.
God's word says that no one whose hope is in Him will ever be put to shame and those who look to Him are radiant. Because of His forgiveness and love for us, we don't have to hang our heads in shame over things we've done. We can look to Him for help and know that His light will remove any darkness that clouds our expressions. When we spend time with God, it shows on our faces. We radiate with joy, hope, peace, and acceptance.
Prayer
Father, I look for you and to you. Be near me as I face challenging times and situations. Don't let the evil bring me shame because of my sins and weaknesses. Triumph over evil in my life for your glory and allow me to seek to further my relationship with You so that I may live my life for your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
